These criteria create the ideal sound and playability for accomplished students. The brown/amber lacquer is oil-based with an antique finish and a beautiful gold base. This viola is handmade with an European flamed maple back and ribs, an European maple neck, an European spruce top, and an ebony fingerboard, tuning pegs, and chinrest. The tailpiece has four built-in fine tuners.
