Beautiful and exceptionally good-sounding Rudolph Conservatoire cello. The craftsmanship, combined with the hand-applied oil varnish, gives this cello a lovely antique look: amber, dark brown on a golden yellow base. The cello is made of European tonewoods: spruce top, maple back, ribs, and neck with scroll. Ebony fingerboard and pegs. It is a powerful, well-balanced cello, ideal for ambitious students and serious players. The denser European tonewoods provide a slightly brighter, more direct, and more powerful tone without losing the rich, warm tone characteristic of these conservatory cellos. The cello has a tailpiece with four built-in fine tuners made of lightweight synthetic materials. The pin is made of solid carbon to keep the instrument as light as possible. It is finished with an antique-style brown oil varnish.
