Violin bow 4/4 by Dörfler, massaranduba, nickel silver collection

Violin bow 4/4, massaranduba, Parisian eye, octagonal. Entry-level model with a very good, round massaranduba bow. This wood is comfortable in the hand and also suitable for very young beginners. Brazilian Wood Collection. Nickel Silver Collection. Product Details: very good Brazilian wooden bow made of massaranduba wood, octogonal, ebony frog, Parisian eye, three-piece knob with eye, metal clear winding.

Dörfler's Brazilian wooden bows are a reality. They use an optimally tuned trio: massaranduba for the bow, genuine ebony from tropical Africa for the frog, and the finest mother-of-pearl or iris for the frog eyes.

Because massaranduba is very heavy and hard, these bows fit exceptionally well in the musician's hand. The dark black, very dense heartwood of the bow gives playing with these bows a distinctly harmonious tone.
